Brevin Knight Fan Club Takes Over Victoria's Sweets

The Brevin Knight Fan Club took over Victoria's Sweets to pay homage to their hero. Hosted by Fahim & Sylvia Knight, this event has been 10 years in the making. Since the 1997 Draft, the Knights of Durham have been organizing friends and family in support of Brevin. There have been bus trips to the old Hive and more recently to the new Bobcats Arena all to cheer on their favorite NBA player.
The location, a local bakery, was decked out in orange balloons and Brevin Knight memorabilia and featured an introduction by Fahim Knight that was speckled with factoids and anecdotes that chronicled Brevin's NBA and college career. There was even a video of a decade-old feature story playing in the background and custom-made Brevin Brevin adressed the group, answered questions, signed autographs and posed for photos; giving each fan their own moment. A sweet time was had by all! |
